About Chart Types
Choosing the right chart type is essential for quickly analyzing your results. Visualizing your data helps you easily spot trends and draw insights. On the Potloc platform, you can modify the display of each chart based on your needs. Here’s a list of chart types available:
- Table chart
- Bar chart
- Column chart
- Stacked bar chart
- Stacked column chart
- Line chart
- NPS
In addition to selecting your chart type, you can customize how the data is displayed:
- Choose between percentage or number format.
- Show the total or weighted base, along with data labels on the chart.
- Enable significance testing for the mean or value (except for matrix and NPS questions).
- Show or hide specific answer items.
Customizing Your Charts
When you first gain access to the platform, we preset each chart based on what we believe is the best visualization, depending on the question type and the number of responses. However, you have full control to modify and adjust the visualization to suit your analysis needs.
Each question type has a set of compatible chart types to ensure accurate analysis. For example, certain chart types are only available for NPS questions. We’ve designed the platform to present the most relevant chart types for each question.
Keep in mind that some chart types may not be compatible with crosstabs or double crosstabs. If this happens, you’ll see an error message notifying you.
