MONTREAL, QC, [APRIL 10, 2025] — Potloc, the survey platform purpose-built for consulting and private equity firms, today announced a new configuration of its Board of Directors to support the company’s next stage of growth. Richard Thornton, a veteran in the insights industry, has been appointed Chairman of the Board. Potloc also welcomes two new independent board members: Francois Delepine and Nicolas Bourret.

Richard Thornton joined Potloc’s board in 2023 as an independent member, bringing over two decades of experience leading go-to-market strategies in the research technology sector. As former COO and CCO at Cint Group, Thornton helped scale the company from €2M to €100M in revenue and guided it through a successful IPO in 2021. Currently an Operating Partner at J12 Ventures, Thornton holds board positions across several high-growth SaaS and research technology companies.

Joining Thornton on the board are Francois Delepine and Nicolas Bourret.

Francois Delepine is a seasoned CFO with deep experience in both public and private companies, including Trimble, Xtime, and Kadiri. For the past eight years, he has served as CFO of cybersecurity firm Venafi, where he led capital raises, oversaw a sale to private equity firm Thoma Bravo, and helped drive a tenfold increase in valuation to $1.6B. An NACD-certified board member, Delepine brings particular expertise in finance, cybersecurity, M&A, and governance best practices.

Nicolas Bourret is a former Partner at Bain & Company and now Partner at an investment firm, with 20 years of experience in M&A, full potential transformations and operational turnarounds. Based in New York, Bourret has worked extensively with private equity portfolio companies across five continents, with a focus on delivering strategic clarity and measurable results.
